Hidden Disabilities, Visible Support:

Creating Space for Everyone

Disability is more widespread than often assumed: around 1.3 billion people worldwide are affected. In Europe, 1 in 6 people live with a disability and nearly 80% are not visible. Yet disability is still widely associated with a single image: the wheelchair on a blue background. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower exists precisely for everyone that symbol doesn't reach.

Launched in 2016, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower offers individuals a discreet, dignified way to signal that they may benefit from additional support and understanding without needing to explain their condition. It has been widely adopted across sectors, including 300+ airports, and continues to grow across Europe, America, and Oceania.

Paperjam Club is now implementing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme in partnership with Real Impact Hub, the official Sunflower franchise holder in Luxembourg. At our networking events, conferences, and training programmes, participants will have access to Sunflower lanyards and a welcoming environment where they can engage at their own pace and feel supported without any requirement for formal disclosure.
